Daedong Mobility launches three new golf cart models and introduces a five-year free warranty

Daedong Mobility, Daedong Group’s subsidiary specializing in smart mobility solutions (CEO Won Yu-hyun), is launching three new golf cart models and rolling out the industry’s first five-year free warranty program, aiming to strengthen its dominance in the domestic golf cart market in 2025.

The newly released models are the premium limousine GA900 (six-seater), the three-row premium GA500 (eight-seater), and the two-row standard GA300 (five-seater), all of which feature enhanced user convenience and safety. The GA500, in particular, is equipped with bolster-type seats in all rows (first, second, and third), which minimize body movement during travel. This provides excellent stability and ride comfort, maximizing passenger comfort. The GA900 is the first in the industry to feature an automatic cooling system. Weight-detecting seat sensors sense when passengers board or disembark, automatically activating the air conditioner and a small fan. This eliminates the hassle of manual operation and prevents unnecessary energy consumption, allowing the battery to maintain its performance for longer periods. Additionally, the seats are equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage functions, helping to reduce fatigue from extended play and ensuring passengers remain in top condition. In addition, all three new models come standard with an incline sensor that limits the maximum driving speed to 14 km/h when traveling downhill, further enhancing safety.

 

Following the GA900, the GA500 and GA300 models also feature daytime running lights (DRLs) on the front configured in a straight line, and the grille design uses a contrasting combination of blue and black to create a unified family look, establishing a new design identity for Daedong Mobility’s golf carts. Daedong Mobility plans to increase awareness of its new products with a demo cart program throughout the year, allowing customers to experience the products at golf courses across Korea before making a purchase.

With the launch of these new models, Daedong Mobility is also introducing the industry’s first five-year free warranty program for products sold from 2025 onward. The models covered are the GA900, GA500, and GA300, with seven key components, including the reducer, drive motor, electronic brake, and battery, eligible for free warranty service. The free warranty period is approximately 2.5 times longer than those offered by other domestic companies (five years for the battery, two years for drive control components). Additionally, to further enhance customer satisfaction, Daedong Mobility will conduct a free inspection campaign for customers who purchased their products within the past two years.
