Daedong Mobility (CEO Won Yu-hyun), an AI field robotics subsidiary of the Daedong Group, announced on January 29 that it is advancing its entry into the US market by unveiling premium golf carts and North America–spec low-speed electric vehicles (LSVs, Low-Speed Vehicles) at the 2026 PGA Show, the world’s largest golf industry exhibition.

Daedong Mobility took part in the 2026 PGA Show held from January 20 to 23 (local time) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, where it presented key products and technological capabilities aimed at the North American golf and lifestyle mobility markets. The PGA Show, organized by the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA), is the world’s largest golf industry exhibition, with more than 1,000 brands participating from over 80 countries worldwide.
At the exhibition, Daedong Mobility showcased the GA900 premium limousine golf cart and a North America–spec LSV concept model. The company also unveiled a future mobility roadmap that combines AI-based autonomous transport and divot repair robots with a service platform, presenting its vision to move beyond vehicle manufacturing and evolve into a “Total Golf Solution Provider.”
The GA900 is a six-seat premium limousine golf cart designed to enhance driving stability and ride comfort through the use of a high-performance lithium-ion battery and an independent suspension system. It is equipped with a range of convenience features, including ventilated, heated, and massage seats, as well as heated and cooled cup holders. At the exhibition, the “automatic cooling system,” which detects passenger boarding and exiting and automatically adjusts the climate control system, drew particular attention from visitors.
Unveiled alongside the GA900, the North America–spec LSV is being developed as an everyday mobility vehicle designed to connect golf courses with nearby residential communities, positioned as a so-called second car. At the exhibition, Daedong Mobility highlighted several key features planned for future application, including an Apple CarPlay–enabled display, front storage space, and sliding seats. The model drew attention for its practicality and clean, modern design.
Daedong Mobility’s decision to put its premium limousine golf carts and LSVs at the center of its US market strategy reflects the evolving local golf cart market, which is expanding beyond traditional golf course use. Golf carts are increasingly used across a wider range of settings, including resorts, gated communities, and retirement communities. Demand for premium golf carts offering improved ride comfort and enhanced convenience features has also been growing, particularly among high-end golf courses and resorts. According to industry sources, the US golf cart market was estimated at the mid-USD 500 million range as of 2024 and is expected to see sustained growth over the mid to long term, driven by ongoing electrification and premiumization trends.
