Daedong hosts inaugural Family Day for Outstanding Dealers in Europe

Daedong (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-sik and Won Yu-hyun), a leader in future agriculture, announced on October 31 that it hosted the inaugural “Family Day for Outstanding Dealers in Europe” in Korea between October 22 and 28 (7-day event), to give some of its best dealers in Europe a chance to learn and experience the strengths and competitiveness of Daedong Group’s core technologies, products, production systems, etc.
This event got underway following the “2023 KIOTI European Distributors Convention,” which Daedong hosted back in November last year to target the European market with its mid- to large-sized tractors. This latest event was held to strengthen cooperative relationships with local dealers, improve brand loyalty to Daedong Group’s global agricultural machinery brand KIOTI, and share the company’s vision for the future. Based on the sales performance of European distributors and local dealers in the first half of this year, Daedong invited more than 70 guests, including top dealers and distributors from 18 European countries, to Korea.
On October 22, the delegation visited the Daedong Daegu factory and Changnyeong Development Headquarters, then were invited to a welcome dinner. At the Daedong Daegu factory, visitors learned more about Daedong's products and brand with an exclusive exhibition of small, medium, and large tractor models, small construction equipment, engines, etc., and demonstrations for each model. A tour of the production line gave Daedong’s dealers from Europe a chance to get a better idea of how products are produced and assembled, how quality is controlled, and how products are shipped. Thereafter, the group headed over to the Changnyeong Development Headquarters and spent some time learning about Daedong’s AI robotics business through demonstrations of robot mowers and autonomous transport robots.
The following day, the delegation visited the Daedong Mobility S-Factory to see the production process of sub-compact tractors, zero-turn mowers, and the smart factory production and quality management system. The group then traveled to Daedong's Seoul Office for a presentation on what exactly AI-powered smart agriculture is and why we need it. Visitors were taken to the smart farm and AI indoor garden kit on the 5th floor of the building. The group rounded out their visit with a trip to some of the most popular tourist attractions in Seoul to learn more about Korea’s culture and history.
