- Plans to secure 20 dealers this year, including mega-dealers selling 1,000 units annually, to target the central region of Türkiye
Daedong, a leader and pioneer in future agriculture (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-sik and Won Yu-hyun), announced on April 21 that it participated in the “2025 Konya Agriculture Fair,” held from April 8 to 12 in Konya, Central Anatolia, Türkiye, to strengthen the competitiveness of its KIOTI business in a market where 60,000 tractors are sold annually, making it the fourth largest in the world.
Now in its 21st year, the Konya Agriculture Fair is one of Türkiye’s top three agricultural exhibitions, attracting more than 200,000 visitors on average. The fair serves as a strategic platform where global agricultural machinery manufacturers, a variety of agri-industry companies, and dealers actively engage in partnerships and business exchanges. Daedong first participated in this event last year, officially launching the KIOTI brand and marking the start of its local operations.

At this year’s fair, Daedong maximized visitor engagement by securing a strategic booth location - a 300m² (about 90 pyeong) booth near the main entrance of the exhibition hall. The company showcased all 10 locally sold tractor models, including the large and medium-sized HX and RX series and the small and medium-sized DK and CK series, capturing the attention of attendees. According to the company, approximately 100,000 visitors stopped by the KIOTI booth at this year’s Konya Agriculture Fair. This resulted in more than 15 retail sales and the signing of contracts with local dealers, which are significant achievements for the brand.
Starting with this exhibition, Daedong plans to increase product exposure among potential agricultural customers by participating in major local agricultural fairs and hosting KIOTI roadshows in Türkiye during the second half of the year. In addition, by the end of this year, the company aims to secure a total of 20 dealers, including mega dealers that sell over 1,000 units annually. This will allow it to strategically target the Central Anatolia region, which is the largest agricultural machinery market in the country. By doing so, Daedong aims to build on the momentum it established in Türkiye last year, when it achieved sales of approximately KRW 15 billion and successfully established itself in the market. The company is targeting sales of over KRW 20 billion this year. Currently, agricultural machinery exports to Türkiye are tariff-free due to the Free Trade Agreement between Korea and Türkiye.
