Daedong Recruits “Daedong Service Specialists” for Agricultural Machinery Maintenance

-. Recruiting maintenance experts and aspiring entrepreneurs near Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheongbuk-do and Jeollabuk-do to operate service centers
-. Expanding a region-based maintenance network to boost customer satisfaction and brand trust
-. Building a stable A/S service system together with skilled maintenance professionals

Daedong (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-sik and Won Yu-hyun), a leader in future agriculture, announced on September 22, 2025, that it has begun recruiting operators for the “Daedong Service Specialist Center (Daedong Care Center, DCC)” to provide faster and more professional maintenance services for its customers.

The DCC initiative is part of Daedong’s broader strategy to go beyond simple network expansion and strengthen localized service capabilities while maximizing machinery uptime for customers. To achieve this, the company plans to partner with independent maintenance experts who possess strong technical skills and operational capacity, ensuring a wider service network and a fast, reliable A/S response system. Daedong expects the DCC program to improve customer satisfaction in the short term and, in the long term, to strengthen brand loyalty built on trust and consistent service quality.

Applications are open to experienced agricultural or construction machinery technicians and those interested in starting a service business. Recruitment is focused on northern Gyeonggi-do, Cheongju in Chungcheongbuk-do, and Gimje and Jeonju in Jeollabuk-do. Applicants must have at least three service staff members (including one certified in a machinery-related field), a workshop of 150m2 or larger, a hoist with a lifting capacity of at least two tons, and facilities for waste oil treatment - or the ability to install them. Daedong noted that while these are standard qualifications, requirements can be adjusted flexibly for qualified candidates.

Currently, Daedong provides customer service through more than 150 agricultural machinery dealerships nationwide. The newly recruited DCCs will receive the same level of support, including regular technical training, specialized maintenance guidance, and access to diagnostic equipment and other operational tools. The company will also offer a stable profit model and performance-based compensation for warranty claims. Through this initiative, Daedong aims to strengthen its local service infrastructure, improve customer satisfaction, and further enhance the reliability and competitiveness of its brand.
