Daedong Holds KIOTI Roadshow in New Markets in Türkiye
-. Expanded roadshow scale from last year with around 6,000 local agricultural stakeholders attending
-. Daedong focuses on Türkiye’s core market segment with a lineup centered on mid- to high-horsepower tractors
-. Targeting a 5% market share in Türkiye within three years through dealer expansion, product diversification, and stronger marketing efforts
Daedong (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-sik and Won Yu-hyun), a leader in future agriculture, announced on September 29, 2025, that it successfully completed the “KIOTI Roadshow 2025” in Türkiye, touring key agricultural regions to showcase and demonstrate its tractor lineup.
The roadshow was designed as a strategic marketing initiative to effectively showcase Daedong’s tractor technology and product competitiveness in the local market and to strengthen connections with consumers on the ground. This year’s event was held on a larger scale than the inaugural roadshow last year, which took place over two days in Ankara and Konya. From September 19 to 26, Daedong visited Sakarya, Sivas, Tokat, and Samsun, four major agricultural regions, attracting about 6,000 visitors - a tenfold increase from the previous year.

Daedong showcased ten key tractor models during the tour, including eight in the 60–140 horsepower range, which reflects the strong local preference in Türkiye for mid- to high-horsepower tractors suitable for multi-purpose farming. Demand for models around 100 horsepower has continued to grow, driven by government incentives to increase grain production and expand subsidies. The four cities selected for the roadshow are regions with particularly high demand for larger tractors and where Daedong recently secured new dealers. Daedong used the roadshow to emphasize its technological advantages and product diversity in this segment.
In particular, the premium HX series was showcased across 90 to 140 horsepower in 10-horsepower increments, highlighting the company’s depth of the high-power lineup. The two top-of-the-line models feature cabin suspension as standard and have been well received by local customers for their ride comfort and driving convenience. They also earned praise for strong torque and pulling power.
In addition to test drives, Daedong held live demonstrations using various attachments such as rotavators and ploughs. These sessions allowed visitors to experience the tractors’ durability, efficiency, and maneuverability in conditions similar to real farming environments, helping them better understand and appreciate the products. The roadshow also generated strong business results, with more than 130 tractors sold on site during the event.

At the end of 2023, Daedong signed a KRW 350 billion supply contract with Aral Group, a leading agricultural machinery distributor in Türkiye, marking the start of full-scale business expansion in the region. In 2024, the company focused on building brand awareness and establishing a solid sales foundation, and since 2025 it has been executing a range of strategies to increase its market share.
Going forward, Daedong plans to introduce facelifted compact and mid-size models to better serve small farms, while continuing to expand its service network and strengthen partnerships with new dealers. The company also plans to enhance local marketing through participation in Türkiye’s four major agricultural machinery exhibitions and by hosting a third KIOTI Roadshow. Meanwhile, Daedong expects to generate KRW 15 billion in sales in Türkiye this year and is targeting KRW 20 billion next year. The company aims to achieve a 5% share of the Turkish tractor market within the next three years, establishing a stable and sustainable business presence in the region.
