Daedong Reports KRW 1.1555 Trillion in Cumulative 3Q Revenue as Growth in North America and Europe Accelerates

–. Delivers stable performance despite a global downturn in agricultural machinery, with Europe rising 121 percent year-on-year
–. Dealer network expansion and differentiated sales programs strengthen Daedong’s presence in North America
–. Company targets double-digit growth in Europe next year through expanded logistics, service infrastructure, and new market development

Daedong (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-sik and Won Yu-hyun), a leader in future agriculture, announced on November 17 that it achieved cumulative consolidated revenue of KRW 1.1555 trillion and operating profit of KRW 47.3 billion for the third quarter of 2025. These figures represent year-on-year growth of 4.73 percent and 24.1 percent respectively.

The company attributed its performance to targeted and efficient strategies in North America and Europe, despite a shrinking global agricultural machinery market and continued volatility in exchange rates and tariffs. In North America, cumulative 3Q revenue reached KRW 672.3 billion, an 18 percent increase from the previous year. Revenue in Europe rose to KRW 166 billion, up 121.11 percent and a major driver of overall results.

Daedong strengthened its European presence by segmenting the market across its five priority countries (Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and Poland) and implementing localized strategies tailored to each region. This approach supported significant sales growth by aligning product offerings with preferred horsepower ranges and adding new distributors.

Positioning Europe as its second strategic hub, Daedong has set targets of achieving double-digit revenue growth and reaching a market share in the three-percent range by 2026. To support this ambition, the company introduced a seven-year warranty across its entire tractor lineup earlier this year, a program unique among agricultural machinery brands in Europe. Daedong also raised global visibility for its KIOTI brand through participation in AGRITECHNICA, Europe’s largest agricultural machinery exhibition, held in Hannover in November. A new logistics center will open in the Netherlands in the fourth quarter to strengthen the regional supply chain, and the “KIOTI” Connect app service is slated to expand across Europe in 2026.

In North America, progress continued from the first half of the year. Dealer network expansion, a broader attachment lineup, regional promotional programs, and phased price adjustments collectively contributed to steady growth. Beginning next year, Daedong plans to pursue a more diversified North American business portfolio. The company will introduce compact excavators to enhance competitiveness in the compact construction equipment segment, while expanding service, parts, and attachment operations to build a more resilient and balanced revenue structure.

Daedong is also accelerating its entry into new markets. The company plans to expand operations in Türkiye and Ukraine, both of which began full-scale business activity this year, and in Southeast Asian markets such as Indonesia and Malaysia. These initiatives aim to diversify Daedong’s global sales base, reduce reliance on North America, and strengthen resilience to risks such as tariffs and supply chain instability.

In Korea, Daedong is advancing next-generation business lines centered on AI, autonomous driving, and precision agriculture. Development is underway for an AI tractor capable of Level 4 autonomous and unmanned operations, targeted for launch in March next year. The company also aims to begin mass production of a weeding robot based on its autonomous carrier robot platform in the first half of the year. Daedong will further expand its precision agriculture portfolio with crop-specific solutions for rice paddies and upland crops, as well as satellite-based monitoring services.
