Daedong enjoys great success with its “Daedong Cafe on the Go” on Partnership Day

- With “Daedong Cafe on the Go,” Daedong listened to more than 1,000 employees at partner companies across six regions, including Seongseo, Daegu-si, to strengthen its communication with the field
Daedong (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-Sik and Won Yu-Hyun), a leader and pioneer in future agriculture, shared news on its recent “Daedong Cafe on the Go” event that got underway between August 8 and 14. The company said on August 22 that it served drinks and snacks to eleven of its most outstanding partners in the module, engine, automotive electronics, and casting industries.
“Daedong Cafe on the Go” was a new addition to Daedong’s Partnership Day organized to appreciate the contributions of its partners and listen to some of their difficulties during the sweltering summer season. Daedong sent “coffee trucks” to eleven partner companies across six different regions, including Vision Digitech and Samwoo Agricultural Machinery (Seongseo, Daegu-si), Youngjin Casting and Daewook Cast (Goryeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do), Sewoon Moolsan (Chilgok, Gyeongsangbuk-do), Daeshin Precision, Jeil Metal, and Daehwang Precision (Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do), Namdo Industrial (Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do), and Tae-San Machinery and Daesong (Okcheon, Chungcheongbuk-do).
Meanwhile, Daedong has started compiling a raw materials database and an integrated purchase system for raw materials such as steel plates, resins, and logistics this year to improve its cost and quality competitiveness. By doing so, the company wants to supply raw materials of excellent quality and price to its partners and ultimately improve the quality of Daedong Group products. To that end, Daedong signed a business agreement with POSCO last month to promote the joint purchasing of steel plates.
