Daedong (co-CEOs Kim Jun-Sik and Won Yu-Hyun), a leader and pioneer in future agriculture, announced on March 4 that it is hosting its annual dealer exhibition until July this year at 61 dealerships nationwide, and invited local farmer customers to dealerships or farms to showcase major products for sale this year.
Along with demonstrations of its main agricultural products, such as tractors and combines, Daedong will focus on promoting its agricultural transport robot “RT100” at this year's annual exhibition. RT100 demonstrations and promotional events will be available at all dealerships included in the annual exhibition calendar. The plan is to promote products and gather feedback by communicating directly with consumers.

Core to this year's Annual Exhibition for Daedong Dealers is demonstrating the RT100 working in various environments. Daedong plans to showcase the versatility of RT100 to farmers in various environments through local dealerships, including fruit orchards (pear, apple, peach), potato greenhouse farms, crop fields for green tea and garlic, and livestock farms.
The RT100, launched in February, features a wide range of functions and it makes transporting crops much more convenient. It is easy to operate thanks to a wired guidance system, it generates little noise and zero emissions because it has an electrified platform. It also comes with a maximum load capacity of 300kg, it can drive through rough terrain, turn in-place with its four-wheel drive system, lift and dump loads, and it has a remote monitoring function as well. The autonomous driving model, set to be released in April, will be equipped to recognize and follow people automatically, stop, and drive autonomously based on route settings.
