Daedong (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-sik and Won Yu-hyun), a leader in future agriculture, announced on March 11, 2026, that it held its 2026 Dealer Convention under the theme “Plant with Data, Harvest with Innovation.”

The convention, held from March 9 to 10 at the Enford Hotel in Cheongju, brought together approximately 130 dealer representatives from across Korea. The event reviewed the company’s 2025 performance and outlined its mid- to long-term vision for transforming into an AI and robotics company. This year’s program was significantly expanded compared with previous conventions, with a stronger focus on new business areas and strategic priorities required in the era of future agriculture. The agenda addressed the changes and challenges ahead and explored how Daedong and its dealer partners will grow together.
At the convention, Daedong presented its core future agriculture initiatives aimed at sustaining long-term growth. In response to the contraction of the domestic agricultural machinery market and changes in government policy, the company outlined plans to drive new revenue and maximize dealer profitability by expanding its future agriculture portfolio, including AI tractors, transport robots, precision agriculture solutions, DJI drones, and Deutz-Fahr tractors.
Daedong also shared its strategic direction for new business expansion, innovation in parts and service, its vision for platform based agriculture businesses, and its roadmap for AI robotics technologies, laying out a clear path forward amid industry transformation. Six dedicated sessions followed, covering topics such as unmanned farming powered by vision AI tractors and the scalability of data driven agriculture, offering practical insights that bridge future business opportunities with on-site operations.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to stronger partnerships with dealers. It plans to reinforce support systems that directly enhance dealer performance, including more refined regional sales strategies, market focused product planning and development, improved field service quality, and greater efficiency in parts supply. Daedong also stressed the importance of closer communication with dealers and continued investment in training, marketing, and technical support to ensure partners can respond quickly to evolving market conditions.
