Daedong (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-sik and Won Yu-hyun), a leader and pioneer in future agriculture, announced on March 3 that it hosted the “2026 Partnership Day” to promote mutually beneficial collaboration and shared growth with its key partner companies.

“Partnership Day” is an annual event where Daedong shares its business vision and key strategic directions while recognizing and appreciating the contributions of its partners. This year’s event focused on presenting the company’s mid- to long-term vision and its 2026 company-wide operational direction, aimed at securing sustainable competitiveness amid a rapidly changing global business environment.

At the event, Daedong presented its business direction for the year across key functions, including procurement, quality, production, development, and parts service. The company outlined specific areas of collaboration with its partners, focusing on ▲strengthening manufacturing competitiveness ▲advancing quality standards ▲establishing a stable production and supply system ▲developing products driven by technological competitiveness ▲enhancing service capabilities to improve customer satisfaction. Through these efforts, Daedong aims to further strengthen and deepen its strategic partnerships with partner companies.

Daedong emphasized that it views its partners not merely as suppliers, but as core partners that co-create technology and competitiveness, underscoring its commitment to advancing these relationships over the mid to long term. To this end, the company plans to further structure and scale its collaboration framework based on expanded technical cooperation and enhanced quality and reliability, while building a foundation for sustainable growth through joint participation from the early stages of product development.

The company shared its performance for the past year and outlined its future growth vision centered on agricultural AI, robotics, and smart technologies. While further strengthening the competitiveness of its core agricultural machinery business, Daedong aims to secure mid- to long-term growth drivers by transitioning toward a technology- and data-driven business model, including AI and robotics. Through this approach, it reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the scope of technological collaboration with partner companies and driving shared growth across future business domains.

During the event, Daedong recognized outstanding partner companies for their contributions over the past year. The company selected 10 partners for excellence across various categories, including quality, delivery, and technical collaboration, and presented them with awards to recognize their achievements and reinforce the spirit of mutual growth. Jinbu and Delix received the Grand Prize, while Samwoo Agricultural Machinery and Samsung Precision were honored with Excellence Awards. Daeyang Industry, Daewook Cast, and Dongjin Precision received Division Excellence Awards. MCA Korea, Cheongwoo, and PHINIA Delphi Automotive Systems were recognized with Achievement Awards.

The event was held on February 27 at Hotel Inter-Burgo EXCO in Daegu, with approximately 150 attendees, including Daedong executives and employees as well as representatives and staff from 95 partner companies.
