Daedong Opens Industry’s First Two Authorized Service Master Centers
-. Daedong introduces a “Master Center” model that grants regional service authority to agricultural machinery repair specialists who pass its evaluation
-. Dedicated solely to service, with no machinery sales role or sales territory restrictions, the model complements the existing dealer-led A/S network
-. Expected to expand service coverage and improve A/S speed and quality across Jeollanam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do
Daedong (Co-CEOs Kim Jun-sik and Won Yu-hyun), a leader in future agriculture, announced on April 16, 2026, that it has opened its first two “Service Master Centers” in Naju, Jeollanam-do, and Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, officially launching a service network built around authorized repair channels. The two centers will serve as regional service hubs covering all of Jeollanam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do, respectively.

Daedong is working to become a “service company” through its nationwide network of 150 sales and service dealerships. The company currently offers services including ▲ a 10-year free warranty on tractor engines and transmissions ▲ free 50-hour inspections for agricultural machinery ▲ remote monitoring for agricultural machinery and an agricultural ChatGPT service. To further improve customer convenience and service satisfaction while strengthening customer preference for the brand, Daedong has introduced the “Service Master Center” system. The centers focus exclusively on maintenance and repair and do not sell agricultural machinery.
The two new Service Master Centers are Daedong-authorized repair channels that provide maintenance, inspection, and after-sales service for agricultural machinery, as well as parts sales. In Korea, agricultural machinery dealerships typically provide service only within their designated sales territories. Daedong’s new model expands beyond that structure by partnering with independent agricultural machinery repair specialists to provide broader regional service coverage.
Daedong began recruiting Service Master Centers in September last year. The two locations were selected through a comprehensive review of their service capabilities and operating readiness. The evaluation covered ▲ maintenance experience and qualifications ▲ service staffing ▲ facility and equipment standards ▲ accessibility, as well as each location’s ability to operate as a trusted service partner.
The Naju Service Master Center in Jeollanam-do is led by a repair specialist with about 30 years of experience in Daedong’s service division, and is expected to deliver reliable service backed by extensive field experience. The Cheongju Service Master Center in Chungcheongbuk-do is led by the second-generation operator of Daedong’s Shincheongju dealership, and is expected to provide advanced agricultural machinery service by combining field expertise passed down from the first generation with a flexible approach to new technologies.
Building on the launch of these Service Master Centers, Daedong plans to gradually expand its locally based repair network. The company expects the centers to provide faster, more reliable after-sales service. Daedong aims to open three centers this year and expand the model nationwide over the mid to long term.
